Atividades Voz Ativa x Voz Passiva

No nosso post anterior conhecemos as estruturas das frases na voz ativa e na voz passiva e agora chegou a hora de treinar!


1 - Passe as frases abaixo, que estão na active voice, para a passive voice. Lembre-se de usar o tempo do verbo principal da voz ativa no verbo "to be" da voz passiva. 

a) Marco repaired the car.
b) John will make a great dinner tonight.
c) Every day Claire reads the newspaper.
d) The professor gave the books to the students.
e) Right now, Margaret is writing an e-mail.


2 - Rewrite the sentences in Active voice. (Reescreva as sentenças na Voz Ativa)

a) Cookies is sold by Elise.
b) The bakery was cleaned by my uncle.
c) The book was read by his sister.
d) The dinner was made by her mother.
e) Milk is offered by Paul.


3 - Indique a alternativa que expressa o mesmo significado de:

When children watch TV, they encounter a wide range of places, people,and information.


a) When children watch TV, a wide range of places, people, and information will be encounter.

b) When children watch TV, a wide range of places, people, and information are encountered.

c) When children watch TV, a wide range of places, people, and information is encountered.

d) When TV was watched, a wide range of places, people, and information are encountered by children.

4 - Indique a alternativa que expressa o mesmo significado de: 

“You can't wrap a whole mountain range in a blanket”.

a) A whole mountain range can't be wrapped in a blanket.

b) A whole mountain range couldn't be wrapped in a blanket.

c) In a blanket, a whole mountain range isn't wrapped.

d) You can't be wrapped by a whole mountain range.

5 - Comlete as sentenças na Voz Ativa. (Complete the sentences in the Active Voice. Use the correct verb form. )


Passive Voice

6 - Transforme as seguintes frases da voz ativa para a voz passiva.

a) My son cleaned the windows.
b) We receive the newspaper.
c) Bill is going to repair the car.
d) Susan wrote the letter.
e) You should repair the computer.
f) The children have eaten the cookies.
g) Ann will know Machu Picchu ruins.
h) We have cleaned the room.
i) They had won the race.
j) I will build a new house.

RESPOSTAS

1 - a)  The car was repaired by Marco

b) A great dinner will be made by John tonight.
c) Every day the newspaper is read by Claire.
d) The books were given to the students by the professor.
e) Right now, an e-mail is being written by Margaret.

2 - a) Elise sells cookies.
b) My uncle cleans the bakery.
c) My sister reads the book.
d) Her mother makes the dinner.
e) Paul offers milk.

3 - a) A whole mountain range can't be wrapped in a blanket.

Na mudança da ativa para a passiva, o objeto passa a ser sujeito, mas o verbo não muda seu tempo. Nesse caso, o objeto que vira sujeito é “a whole mountain”, e o verbo “to be” é acrescido.

4 - c) When children watch TV, a wide range of places, people, and information is encountered.

Nesse caso, o que faz dessa alternativa correta é a concordância verbal. O que vai mudar da voz ativa para a passiva é a palavra “range”, que equivale a “it”. Logo, para concordar com it, o verbo “to be” precisa estar no singular: “is” (range is / it is).

5 - a) You can take the pair of paints.

c) The childrem broke the door.
d) We will give a birthday party here.
e) They ate a cake.

6) - a) The windows were cleaned by my son.

b) The newspaper was received by us.
